HINTS OF THE VALLEY
Hints of the Valley brings together a series of works by Mullarvey using the printmaking process of collagraphy, where textural collaged plates are created then inked in a painterly approach. Mullarvey takes inspiration from her local environment, using observational drawing, texture, shape and repetition to create a sense of place and space.

Reflects the organic evolution of Mullarvey’s arts practice as she interprets our vast Australian landscape. Although retaining a figurative quality, her latest works using colour, line, textures and form has a more abstracted sense of place. Amongst the patterning and mark making on closer viewing, you will start to note the symbolism and get a sense of an unfolding story.
